Ethical Studies Series

In an era overshadowed by the darkness of utilitarianism, materialistic thinking, and egocentrism, it has become essential to reintroduce the Islamic ethical framework in a contemporary language, not merely to guide youth toward spiritual happiness, but also because the ethical system forms the cornerstone of a Mahdist Islamic society.

Reviving ethical discourse in the public sphere of the Islamic world has gained even greater significance today, as the forces of moral deviation, evil, and corruption have intensified more than at any previous time. Whereas in the past pursuing a path of moral transgression required effort or expense, today the tools of corruption are widely accessible to all.

Moreover, while ethical standards and measures were relatively limited in the past, the vast expansion of the human sciences has generated numerous doubts and challenges that have undermined innate and universal moral truths. For this reason, at "Baratha Center for Studies and Research", we strive to address philosophical objections to the foundations of ethics and respond to contemporary moral doubts. Through the "Ethical Studies Series", we aim at cultivate ethical awareness in people’s hearts, strengthen the presence of goodness in their consciousness, and highlight the threats surrounding ethical values, especially in a context where some deny their relevance altogether, and others approach ethics merely as a tool for personal or political gain.

By Allah’s grace, we possess a great source of ethical knowledge: the Holy Quran, unmatched by any other religious text in the world, complemented by the rich and philosophically profound narrations from the Prophet’s household.
