based on the premise that it is a child's right, aimed at building a healthy personality in all its dimensions and creating a nurturing environment for their healthy growth.
This compels parents to ask a number of questions: Are we truly fulfilling our educational and parental responsibilities, as we should? Could there be some unintentional shortcomings in what we are doing? Isn't it possible that there are Islamic guidelines for parental responsibility that we are unaware of? What are the criteria for identifying them? What if we do fulfill our parental responsibility, yet the outcome is a child who turns out to be unrighteous, will Allah, Almighty, hold us accountable for that on the Day of Judgment?
This book answers these questions, enabling parents to comply with the words of Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him): "As for your child’s right: you should know that he is from you... and that you are responsible for the good manners you have entrusted him with."
