fulfilling his duty, and the message of existence. Titled: “Obstructers in the Holy Qur'an: Internal Obstacles on Faith, History Discourse,” the book offers a profound interpretive (hermeneutic-Qur’anic) reading of the concept of the obstructers [al-muʿawwiqoon], as mentioned in various contexts throughout the Qur'an.

The book moves beyond the superficial understanding that equates the obstructers with laziness or cowardice, toward a symbolic and pedagogical vision that reveals the obstructer as a multifaceted phenomenon—manifest or hidden, physical or abstract, external or internal. An obstructer might appear as a tangible external force, an internal psychological structure, a social context, or a subtle cultural system. What unites all these diverse forms is their capacity to weaken the will and disrupt the prophetic mission. The book also sheds light on the tools of obstruction in the modern world, ranging from media manipulation to consumerist culture, which the Qur'an counters with a discourse of spiritual immunization. This Qur'anic discourse nurtures a resistant awareness and liberates the human will from confusion. Ultimately, it presents a comprehensive vision that reclaims the often-overlooked concept of the obstructers, as a key to understanding many of the unnamed challenges facing individuals and societies today.
